So far they are not in our immediate area, Gerry, which is remarkable because it is SO dry.

Agreed, adinparadise! Although upwards of 200 homes have been lost in the Springs, there are no reported injuries so far.

Beautiful image Ruth, but what’s starting the fires? Is it a natural phenomenon? Or is there human assistance… I hope not.

Some have been started by lightning, which easily happens because Colorado gets so many lightning strikes every year and everything is bone dry. Sadly, they suspect that arson is the cause of the Waldo Canyon Fire.
