This week’s WordPress photo challenge:
Have you snapped a picture of something you’ve created, or something someone else has created? Share a picture that means CREATE to you!
I was recently in Atlanta attending a reception in the atrium of the Georgia Institute of Technology’s College of Management when I looked up and saw this:
Wow! Is that a Chihuly? It is indeed, and I think it exemplifies the spirit of “create.”
You can see other bloggers’ interpretations of this week’s theme here.

Beautiful!
Needed patience to create this… great take on theme.
Can you imagine? And what if you break one…
That is some serious creation – nice.
That’s amazing. Very creative

Have you taken the photos of those light fixtures in Las Vegas’s hotel “Bellagio’? I also have seen something similar in one of Atlantic City’s Hotels in New Jersey.
No! I’d like to see those.

What a fun creation.
Magnificent. It must have taken some man hours to build.
I can’t imagine. What a labor of love.

Hi Ruth,
This is a perfect shot for the theme! We have Chihuly chandeliers at our Benaroya Hall in Seattle, and they make an impressive sight, especially when lit up. They have just opened a museum of his glass creations at the Seattle Center, and your post makes me think I’d better get down there and take a gander.
Thanks for the tip, Naomi! I need to check that out the next time I’m in the Pacific Northwest.
Stunningly beautiful! Chihuly is amazingly creative!
He is fantastic! Each piece is made individually! His work is in many Casinos as well!
